Bonnie Brown, CPA, Co-founder and CEO

Bonnie is a senior-level executive and entrepreneur with over thirty years of hands-on experience in finance & accounting, management, information systems, and business leadership. Extensive experience with management teams, boards, auditors, attorneys, investment bankers and venture capitalists. Solid background in SEC compliance, financial modeling, budgets, audits, and investor relations. Rooted in her upbringing on her grandparents’ farm, she developed a strong bond with animals, inspiring her advocacy for veganism and animal rights.

Previously, CAO and CFO of Tecogen Inc., (NASDAQ: TGEN), American DG Energy (NYSE MKT: ADGE) and EuroSite Power (OTCQX: EUSP) as well as Corporate Secretary and Treasurer. Before joining Tecogen, Bonnie was a partner at Sullivan Bille PC, a regional accounting firm, for 15 years, where she provided financial, accounting, audit, tax, and business consulting services for start-up to mid-sized companies in a wide variety of industries. During her career, Bonnie worked at Enterprise Bank (NASDAQ: EBTC) as a project manager for special assignments such as branch acquisitions and information systems-related projects for the investment management division. Bonnie also served as Director of Internal Audit, establishing an in-house audit function.

Bonnie is a CPA, with a BS in Accountancy from Bentley and an MS in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. She is currently a Board Member and Treasurer for New Roots Institute.

Her consulting practice is focused on working with companies and entrepreneurs whose business or products support removing animals from supply chains and those companies or services that do not negatively impact the lives of animals.
